24/03/30 · After I read the book Northern Lights, it ended up being one of the best books I had ever read, so naturally I had to see the movie. Now I knew going in, there was no way for the movie to be as good as the book. There was way too much detail in 600 plus pages to fit into an hour and a half.

I also loved his take on the Northern Lights. I felt that the book moved really quickly, the story was self-contained and made sense and could easily see why it would make a good movie.
