George Wells (Rod Taylor), The Time Machine is a lark if nothing else. I just found that the film becomes a little slight story-wise when George goes into the extreme future. It actually reminded me of a lesser Planet of the Apes in theses scenes. The Morlocks are great though and were the best part of the film for me.
